This page presents the innovative and emerging scholarship my team and I are developing as part of a project to develop uniform assessment. We are currently collecting and analyzing data regarding assessors experience with the online training and regarding the performance of the learning management system.
FASI is a component of the Testing Experience and Functional Tools (TEFT) demonstration project. It builds on national efforts to create uniform, validated, exchangeable data for use across the caregiving team for individuals in Medicaid CB-LTSS programs. FASI consists of five different sections of items related to an individual’s strengths and need for assistance in everyday activities, assistive devices that support daily function, and caregiver support. Assessors complete a competency-based, media-rich, personalized online training prior to administering the assessment.
